Climb Kilimanjaro – Rongai Route

Route Overview

The Rongai Route is the only Kilimanjaro trail that approaches from the north, near the Kenyan border. It’s known for being less crowded, with drier conditions, and a more gradual ascent — making it a great choice for those seeking a quieter, scenic climb. Though less varied in landscape, it offers beautiful wilderness and frequent wildlife sightings early on.
